Not much to say…

Landed in Berlin on a freezing day of Feb 2005 to spend my first 4 months in this truly magical city. The main purpose of the stay was to learn/improve my German skills. But I managed to find much more.
This city boasts so many great assets, wheater you are a music enthusiast, interested in (recent) history, like architecture, etc.
Since then, I’ve spent several week-ends, almost once a year. And yes it has changed. Yes Mitte has become gentrified. Yes you can’t find a decent Kebab on Hackescher Markt anymore, especially after 4 am when you leave a club. And yes rents has skyrocketed. BUT the heart still remains. And you’ll always find fucked-up places to party till dawn. You will find up-coming designer stores. You will still struggle to choose amongst the endless cultural agenda. In brief, Berlin you’ll always be in my heart.
