I first visited Marrakech in Spring 2018, whilst on a business trip. Though, I had decided to extend my stay a little bit to stroll around the Medina, and to visit some of the great sights that this amazing city boasts: Jardin Majorelle, Place Jemaa el’Fna, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Badi Palace, Museum of Photography, etc.

First impressions and expectations were rapidly confirmed by the beauty of the narrow streets, the smell of the spices, the countless mint tea breaks, the taste and finesse of the amazing Moroccan cuisine, the vibrance of the colours and the heat…

That being said, I had the chance to visit a second time in 2019 and was supposed to come back in 2020. But the initial plans had to be put off, because of the Covid-19. I was quite frustrated because I had also planned to make a road trip and visit among others Essaouira, Chefchaouen, etc. But hopefully, with the border reopening slowly, I might have another shot later this year! Finger crossed!

In the meantime, I hope you’ll enjoy the few pics I took whilst getting lost in the Medina!
