The journey has reached its end. What I felt during those three weeks is quite hard to describe in a nutshell…

Gazing @ Mount Popa, Myanmar

But let’s put it that way. I have experienced one of the most intense, mind-blowing, breath-taking land I’ve ever been to. The food, the kindness of the people, the smiles, the colors that never fade are only a few reasons to go there and see for yourself. Don’t wait too long though, the country will continuously evolve, not necessarily in a good way.

I had the chance to live quite unique moments, like the one in the Bagaya Monastery for instance, where I could be present at the novices’ morning lesson. However, this moment was ruined by the assault of roughly 20 tourists, that behaved like people in a zoo; taking pictures, yelling at each others and literally whistling at the kids. Nationality of the group doesn’t matter, I have witnessed shameful behaviors among all nationalities. But one thing is for sure, (mass) tourism doesn’t bring only good things.

Anyway, I’m getting carried away once again. To conclude this amazing trip, I selected the best pictures that depict, in my opinion, my peregrinations in Myanmar.
